The Work

Beginning in summer 2025, Embody Lib partnered with the Montgomery County Collaboration Council to design and deliver a cohort-based capacity-building training series for nine community-based organizations engaged in grassroots collaboration and partnership development. The series centered on building trust-based, values-aligned partnerships that support long-term systems change.

In fall 2025, this work expanded into the development of the Effective Collaborations and Equitable Partnerships Practice Guide, translating cohort learning into practical tools and strategies for broader use. The engagement includes ongoing expansion of the series to reach local government partners and community liaisons.

Embody Lib also provided dedicated project management and administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience across planning, delivery, and follow-up.
